Temporary Junior Electronic Assembly Technician - Minimum 2 Month Contract - Denmead

The position will be based at the office in Denmead, and will initially be an 8 week contract. The company work internationally with clients in the marine and oil industries.

Salary £19,000 pro rata

Working Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm

Due to location own car will be required.

Overview of the role for Junior Electronic Assembly Technician:

To assist the current production team with assembly and testing of bespoke Hi-Tech Electronic Control systems for marine applications.

Duties as the Junior Electronic Assembly Technician:

• Assembly of Hi-Tech electronic products consisting of machined enclosures with internally mounted PCBAs, bespoke looming and cable assemblies.

• Build-up, test and installation of connectors and looms.

• Build-up, test and installation of external cable assemblies.

• Test and calibration of completed assemblies.

• Updating documentation to reflect build and test data.

Key skills/Personal profile:

• Motivated self-starter able to work on own initiative

• High degree of personal organisation

• Able to work in a busy, dynamic environment, maintaining focus and accuracy of tasks.

• Technical Skills o Cable/wiring production o Soldering

o Light Mechanical Assembly

o Use of basic test and measurement equipment (DVM, Oscilloscope, Digital Vernier)

o Ability to follow written test plans.

• Computer literate, able to use MS office software.

• Basic fault-finding skills
